The official place to download The Choicer Voicer is YeahMaybe’s itch.io listing. When checked on August 28, 2026, the store offered non-dev 0.5.2 files for Windows and Linux, kept 0.5.1 files available, and listed the free No Gameplay Demo 0.5.0. The full game was priced at $5 or more. This site does not mirror any of those files.
There is no official Steam release, mobile app, Android APK, iPhone app, Mac build, or Chromebook package on the current listing. See the mobile, APK, and Steam status page before trusting a third-party platform download.
Use the official itch.io listing
The publisher’s page keeps the live price, platform labels, current archives, developer posts, and purchase controls together. A detached archive found through search can remain online after a release changes, while the official listing shows what YeahMaybe currently provides.
- Open The Choicer Voicer by YeahMaybe.
- Confirm the price and Windows or Linux label on the live page.
- Use the free microphone demo first if you are unsure about audio compatibility.
- Complete the itch.io purchase flow for the full game.
- Extract one version into its own folder and launch it before adding custom packs.
At the time of our check, the current 0.5.2 downloads were approximately 256 MB for Windows and 264 MB for Linux. Treat those sizes as a dated observation, not a permanent checksum; the publisher can replace an archive without this guide changing immediately.
Current 0.5.2, older 0.5.1, and the free demo
These files serve different purposes.
| Official option | What the store currently shows | Best use |
|---|---|---|
| The Choicer Voicer 0.5.2 | Windows and Linux full-game archives | Current official game file shown on the listing |
| The Choicer Voicer 0.5.1 | Older Windows and Linux full-game archives | Comparison or rollback if you kept a working folder |
| No Gameplay Demo 0.5.0 | Free compatibility download | Test microphone capture and playback before buying |
The demo is not a free edition of the normal rounds. It exists to exercise the important recording and playback path. The browser mini-game on this site’s homepage is also separate from the downloadable game and does not replace the paid release.
0.5.2 is not the same label as 0.5.2-dev2
An earlier developer post supplied 0.5.2-dev2 to test a possible microphone change. That post explicitly described a test build, and player comments reported mixed results. The store now lists non-dev files named 0.5.2, so it is no longer accurate to describe 0.5.1 as the only normal store version.
There is still an important limit to what the listing establishes: we did not find a separate official 0.5.2 release devlog explaining every change, and the store’s microphone warning remains visible. Therefore this guide treats 0.5.2 as the current file offered by the official store, but does not claim that it fixes every microphone setup.
Back up custom packs before moving between versions. Keep 0.5.1 and 0.5.2 in separate folders, select the same input and output devices, and compare actual saved playback rather than only a moving input meter.
Windows, Linux, Steam, Mac, Chromebook, and mobile
The official store lists Windows and Linux downloads. It does not list an official Steam release, native macOS build, Chromebook package, Android APK, or iPhone/iPad app. The developer’s August 2026 Q&A says Steam is not imminent, makes no promise for Mac, and explains that built-in online multiplayer is not expected.
A search result offering a “Steam unlocked” copy, cracked build, APK, or unofficial wrapper is not evidence of a new platform release. Wait for YeahMaybe to link any future storefront or port from an official account.
Files this site will not provide
We do not link to cracks, password-protected repacks, unauthorized mirrors, license-key offers, or mobile wrappers. Community voice and dub packs are add-ons, not replacements for the base game.
For a clean setup, run an unmodified official archive, complete a short microphone test, and then add one pack at a time. If a later session fails, that baseline helps separate a game-version issue from audio routing or custom content.
