The Choicer Voicer Game FAQ and Answers
Direct answers about the official download, mobile and Steam status, packs, multiplayer, Dub Mode, microphone delay, and crashes.
Can I play The Choicer Voicer online for free?
The iframe on this site is a free separate game called The Choicest Voice, not the full The Choicer Voicer release. YeahMaybe sells the full downloadable game on itch.io and offers a free No Gameplay Demo for microphone testing.
How much does The Choicer Voicer cost?
The official itch.io page currently lists the full game at $5 USD or more. Check that page before purchasing because price and file availability can change.
Where can I download The Choicer Voicer safely?
Use YeahMaybe's official itch.io listing. This site does not mirror the paid installer, cracks, APK files, or unofficial free downloads.
Does The Choicer Voicer support Steam or mobile?
The current official files are for Windows and Linux. No official Steam, macOS, Chromebook, Android APK, or iOS release is listed; the August 2026 Q&A did not announce a Steam or Mac release date.
Does The Choicer Voicer have online multiplayer?
The official game supports solo play, local play for up to four people, and Twitch features, but it has no built-in online lobby. A separate open-source community mod offers two-to-four-player Windows co-op; it is unofficial, builds an unsigned executable from each player's owned copy, and requires matching mod builds and packs. Read its source and risks before using it.
Why is my Choicer Voicer microphone live but not recorded?
The official listing still warns about a long-running recording issue on some audio setups even though non-dev 0.5.2 files are now listed. Test the free demo, try a stereo path, and compare live monitoring with saved playback separately.
Is The Choicer Voicer 0.5.2 the current version?
As checked on August 21, 2026, the official itch.io listing offers non-dev 0.5.2 files for Windows and Linux alongside 0.5.1. The earlier 0.5.2-dev2 post was a separate microphone test build, and no dedicated 0.5.2 release devlog was visible, so this guide does not claim that every mic issue is fixed.
Where do Choicer Voicer voice packs go?
Standard voice packs belong in the packs_voice folder inside the game directory. Use the in-game shortcut to open the correct packs location instead of guessing the installation path.
Do choicer voice or voicer choicer mean the same game?
Those reversed or shortened searches usually refer to The Choicer Voicer. This hub uses the official title while covering the common wording naturally on the same useful pages.
